Received the nicest compliment today from one of the elderly people I care for, they said there’s something special about me and that I’d make an excellent Doctor.

Also…at the Hospital I volunteer at I found out I’ve been assigned to the Surgical Ward! Very beneficial, especially because I dream of being a surgeon some day.

  1. Congratulations on the assignment!

And from what I know about you fromyour blog, I think you’d make a great doctor. You’re obviously very intelligent but you also have the compassion and kindness that I feel a lot of people going into medicine seem to hide or lose throughout the process (this is only based on the students I know that my boyfriend deals with since he’s going to medical school). :)

    • Thanks so much, that means a lot to me. And I think you’re right, some people do hide or lose little parts of their compassion etc through becoming desensitised…I hope I am never among them, though I admit I can detach myself when absolutely necessary e.g. to stay calm or concentrate. That’s so cool that your boyfriend is going to medical school, I bet you’ll love hearing his stories about it!

  2. Congratulations! That’s amazing. : )

Getting compliments like that always boosts a persons day. You seem to work very hard, and there’s no doubt in my mind you deserve it~
